Celebrate Everything Strawberry at the Martins Ferry Strawberry Festival!
Get “berry” excited for this Saturday, June 8th, because the annual Martins Ferry Strawberry Festival is back! The 5th annual Strawberry Festival sponsored by Project Forward offers strawberry-flavored treats and fun for the whole family to kick off the summer.
The fun begins at noon on Saturday on 4th Street in downtown Martins Ferry. Craft vendors and food trucks will line the street, along with a stage for live music and a car show hosted by The Martins Ferry Civics. It costs $5 to enter and proceeds benefit Martins Ferry youth sports. Registration begins at 11:30 am.
Local music entertainment includes Jamie Kropka and his banjo, The Chris Casalinuovo Band, and Tongue N’ Cheek.
The fun continues with a dog show beginning at 2:30 pm. Enter your pooch to win awards such as best in show or most talented, or if you have a dachshund, you can enter the weiner dog race! To register, text or call Peg Ricadonna at 740-381-7650.
You certainly can’t leave without a yummy strawberry treat! Check out refreshing strawberry lemonade, strawberry shortcake, and even strawberry beer and wine!
For the kids, there will be several inflatables and games to enjoy. There’s something for everyone at the Strawberry Fest!
